We all know that we should eat more fish, but most fish recipes are…well…too fishy! Or too hard to make.

Trust me…this is an easy recipe your kids can make.

I LOVE feeding my family fish for many reasons. Fish is
  • healthy
  • easy to chew
  • doesn’t require cutting into tiny bits
  • delicious

Keyword delicious, great for all ages of kids

However, you can make a lot of changes to this easy recipe to best fit your family’s unique tastes. I’ll show you the recipe and then I’ll tell you all the ways you can change up this simple recipe.

Your kids can also make this recipe and have a blast “smashing” the breadcrumbs in the ziploc bag. (Some days even mom will enjoy this part of the recipe!)

Not that it needs it…but how can you change this recipe to fit your family’s unique tastes?

One way is that you can change the “bread crumbs” to Italian flavored bread crumbs or to Panko breadcrumbs. You can also add any sort of herbs or seasonings you like to the crumb topping.

You can even change the fish from haddock to cod, lake fish, or even salmon.

Serve this recipe with flavored rice (such as Rice Pilaf) and steamed vegetables. I also like to expose my kids to additional items such as lemon wedges and a simple tartar sauce.

I truly hope you and your family enjoy this delicious and incredibly easy recipe.
