Balloon Animal/Bouquet Maker

Did you know that balloon animal creations are very easy to make?

I once bought my brother a balloon maker kit for Christmas. We all had fun playing with it. We were making all sorts of balloon animals after a quick glance at the instructions.

This is an easy, fun, and creative hobby that costs very little to do. Another bonus is that there is not a lot of storage necessary as the little balloons take up very little space.

How to Get Started

Purchase a balloon-maker kit. Then practice making everything from the video tutorials with its free app until you can do it from memory. Trust me, once you make a few animals/flowers/hats, etc. you will understand the basic principle of how to make almost anything.

Make up business cards with your name, contact info, and balloon ideas. Purchase blank business cards and upload a good quality picture of an actual balloon bouquet. You can focus on just making balloons for kids at events or you could also create special balloon bouquets to broaden your customer base.

Educate your future customers and “create a need” with them to get them ordering Get Well Balloon Bouquets, Happy Birthday Balloon Bouquets, Congratulations Bouquets, etc.

Get the word out by doing a few free events, but pass out business cards to everyone who receives a balloon. Set up a balloon-making station at an outdoor festival in your town or at a school event. Ask your babysitting friends if they can spread the word to the families they work for that you will work children’s parties. Get a table at craft fairs and farmer’s markets.

For example, send a free bouquet to a receptionist with your business cards displayed. Everyone will be asking about the unique bouquet on the desk. This is called “generating a buzz” and you will be spreading the word to an entire office.

Advertise by attaching your flyer or business cards to balloons and distribute them at fairs, school events, sporting events, etc. Children cannot resist free balloons.

With the owner’s permission, leave your flyers on the counters of local party supply stores. You will be reaching an ideal market of party planners.
